How this page works
The writing boxes below are yours. What you type stays in this browser, is saved here as you go, and is never sent to us or to your teacher. Hand the written work in the way your teacher asked for it.
The graded check at the bottom is the part that records to your teacher's gradebook.
The cases, from your handoutNot recorded
The same cases as your handout, in the same order.
Scenario 1 · Foundational
A student spends a month building a locker-organizer app for teachers - layout, colors, and features all chosen because 'they seemed obvious.' At launch, zero teachers adopt it: it assumes teachers assign lockers alphabetically, but at this school lockers are assigned by grade and hallway. No teacher was ever consulted at any point.

Second-layer issue to flag (enrichment):
Scenario 2 · Core
A pair divides an escape-room game: one partner writes the entire 700-line game in a four-day marathon, then runs it for the first time. It crashes instantly. Every fix reveals two new failures - the timer breaks the puzzle logic, the puzzle logic breaks the scoring - and after a week of whack-a-mole they can't even say which parts have ever worked.

Scenario 3 · Core
A club's event app gets its first real users at the fall fair. Feedback is loud and consistent: the sign-up flow confuses everyone - people tap the poster image expecting it to be a button. The team logs every comment, thanks everyone warmly... and ships the spring version with the sign-up flow untouched, because 'the design phase ended in October and we're in the testing phase now.'

Scenario 4 · Challenge
A solo student builds their Create PT project in a block-based environment with no comment feature, so they keep no documentation of any kind - 'not possible in this language.' The program's cleverest procedure was generated by an AI assistant; it appears nowhere in any write-up, and when asked how it works, the student shrugs: 'It works, that's what matters.' Submission is in three weeks.

About the line in your handout
Your handout says this exercise is available online and auto-graded. The exercise IS here, and it is the same work in the same order, but the auto-graded half is not written for this topic yet. Nothing on this page is scored or sent to your teacher.
Hand this in the way your teacher asked for it. Topic 1.1 has its graded check today, and the rest follow.
