Scenario 2 · Core
The cafeteria surveys students about new menu options - but the survey link is posted only in the athletics team app. 900 responses arrive, overwhelmingly requesting high-protein options. The cafeteria director, thrilled with the turnout, proposes extending the survey two more weeks to 'make the data even stronger.'

Scenario 3 · Challenge
A statewide fitness study collects 200 million sensor readings. The lead researcher's laptop crashes every time the file opens, and the team debates two proposals: (a) delete 90% of the readings so the laptop can cope, or (b) find a better way to process all of them. The grant also requires the study to keep growing for five more years.
