AP Networking Packet Path Game | Longest Prefix Match Routing | Topic 4.4

Packet Path

Four journeys, one hop at a time. Read the routing table the way a router reads it

Journey 1 / 4 Hops right: 0 Score: 0

How to play: a router compares the destination against every route it holds and uses the one that matches with the LONGEST prefix, because that is the most specific route it has. A default route of 0.0.0.0/0 matches everything, so it only wins when nothing else matched at all.
