AP Networking Study Games | Ten Free Practice Games by Topic

AP Networking Study Games

Ten games, one for every topic in the course that asks you to configure, secure, troubleshoot or verify something rather than just describe it

These are not quizzes with a countdown on them. Each one is built around a single mistake that people actually make on real networks: the firewall rule that never gets reached, the address that is one host short, the test that passes whether or not you configured anything. Nothing here is graded. Play them as many times as you like, and beat your own score on the leaderboard at the bottom of each page.

Why these ten topics. The AP Networking course framework attaches skills to every topic, and ten of the twenty two ask students to implement, configure or verify something. Those ten are exactly the ten below. The other twelve topics are covered by the lessons and the topic quizzes, because reading and answering questions is a fair way to assess explaining and identifying. It is not a fair way to assess whether you can build the thing.
